Protection and Safety of Information Systems in Modern Business

Abstract

This paper has been written in order to provide a complete insight into computer criminal presenting the subject which increasingly causes the attention of the public in our country and worldwide. The aim of this paper is to draw attention to the diversity of this type of crime and to educate employees in various companies about the dangers inherent in globalization processes. Protection of information is an essential component of modern business that treduces the risks associated with easy access and quick interchangeability of huge amounts of data and information to a desired level. In the framework of this research issues such as data protection in electronic business, types of attackers and attack methods, basic techniques to protect data and information, legislation, computer crime and other topics related to the protection and security of data have been dicsussed. Signifcance of the topic has special placein the process of education of users whose primary goal is to raise the protection and security of data at signifcantly higher levels, harmonized with international standards related to this issue.
